Often overlooked, our garden produces nearly year-round for our value-added commissary products and farm-to-table restaurant. From our pickles and jams to our table-top floral arrangements to the side dishes served in our restaurant– our garden is the source of it all! Visit us and spend the day with our garden team to see how we utilize chemical-free methods in growing our plants!

Start the day with seeding and our approach to seasonal strategy in our greenhouse, and finish the day at our 3-acre garden, learning tips and tricks for integrating livestock in vegetable production.

Come join our White Oak Pastures garden team to learn about our organic gardening practices and how we integrate our animals and cover cropping to build soil.
This workshop will cover:
- Seed starting and transplanting
- Bed preparation
- Natural organic fertilizers
- Organic pest control
- Organic weed control
- Composting
- Using inoculants
- Cover cropping
- Growing tips and our favorite tools

All participants will also enjoy a walking Bluffton farm tour and a homemade farm-fresh lunch.

If your travel plans include flying, please note that the closest airports to our farm are a bit too far for ride sharing services such as Uber or Lyft. We recommend making arrangements for a rental car to ensure you have adequate transportation.

Please Note! *Event ticket purchases are final, and cannot be refunded. However, we know life can get in the way! Please contact us if you need to cancel your participation in an event that you previously purchased tickets for. We will be happy to credit your money for a future farm visit, in the form of a credit in the General Store towards food/merchandise, lodging, or towards another event.

Our educational classes and workshops are not geared for small children, unless otherwise specified. As a general rule, a child under ten is not able to participate, due to safety concerns. If you would like to purchase an adult-priced ticket for a teenager, you may do so with the understanding that we usually recommend our educational opportunities for those 18 years old and up.
