Shipping Protection FAQ's

Our farm has been shipping meat ordered through our website since 2010 and we've never offered any kind of insurance or shipping protection. As a result, we've covered the burden of lost, delayed, and spoiled packages at our own expense.

While UPS and FedEx are incredibly reliable, they, like me and you, are not perfect. Anyone who has ever shipped many things through the mail understands there is some level of unreliability that exists.

Instead of raising our prices for everyone on products to cover this loss, we have decided to partner with a shipping insurance provider who we believe offers us the most comprehensive and cost effective option. By allowing customers to choose or decline this insurance, we put each customer in the driver's seat to decide whether or not this is a good option for them.

We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing our business with you as we make improvements to our order and delivery processes.
