All cattle at White Oak Pastures are grassfed and grass-finished. Processed in our on-farm, USDA-inspected, zero-waste processing abattoir, our beef never leaves our possession until it's en route to our customers. All of our steaks, roasts, organs, and bones are hand-butchered the old-fashioned way: by a man with a knife.
Our cattle are Certified Grassfed by the American Grassfed Association, Certified Humane and Ecological Outcome Verified in the Land2Market Program. All of our livestock are raised without the use of antibiotics, steroids, and added growth hormones.
