At White Oak Pastures, we take great pride in raising livestock in a way that’s better for the land, the animals, and the community. But, we fully pass the baton to our customers to prepare and cook these meats into the delicious and nutritious meals we know they can be. The differences in pastured meats can be intimidating, so we’ve arranged for our friend and professionally trained chef, Chris Sherrill, to present a cooking demonstration. Chef Chris received classic culinary training at Johnson & Wales University.
Chef Chris will share his tips on innovative cooking techniques designed explicitly for pasture-raised proteins that the novice cook and seasoned kitchen veteran will find useful. This event is a true pasture-to-plate, farm-to-fork experience. Our staff will share tasting plates of our meats and poultry paired with local produce and other wonderful South Georgia-produced products!
