Cabin and RV Park lodging options online at: https://whiteoakpastures.com/pages/farm-cabins

If your travel plans include flying, please note that the closest airports to our farm are a bit too far for ride sharing services such as Uber or Lyft. We recommend making arrangements for a rental car to ensure you have adequate transportation.

Meet Your Presenter:
I'm KaCie Baechle, owner of Bread and Butter Bakery. I have been making bread for 6 years, and I founded my bakery in April of 2023 with the help of my family and friends.
My family has always been very close, my mom stayed at home to take care of my sister and I. As a result, I have been baking since before I can remember. We made any kind of cake or cookie we felt like trying and gave them to my dad and sister- our official taste-testers. One day in high school, I asked my grandma to teach me how to make bread. I remember it like it was yesterday, my first time rolling up those cinnamon rolls, and taking them out of the oven piping hot. It took all my willpower to not take them apart and eat until they cooked just enough where we wouldn’t get 3rd degree burn (though I think it still would have been worth it). I continue to love to bake cake, but I love even more to make bread. To me, bread is more than something we eat, it connects us to all our ancestors and to every culture all the way to the start of human civilization… It is also delicious. So stick around as I learn more about bread in its countless forms, flavors, and cultural impact on the world!
