Heritage Ground Boar

Animals on our farm breed the old fashion way. The time has come to retire a few of our heritage breeding boars. Instead of mixing this meat with our regular ground pork, we decided to keep it separate, since there are some customers who can taste the difference between boar meat and barrow meat. Boar meat has very little fat content and is full of flavor - a true taste of the wild!*

*Boar meat may have a "gamey" or musky scent while cooking if no seasoning is added. We recommend cooking with your favorite seasoning to achieve a pleasant experience, with no off flavors or aromas.
